This course is open to anyone wishing to build a solid foundation of the basic grammatical structures of French whilst learning to communicate with confidence and fluency. You will:

TCF IRN
The TCF IRN is for any foreigner over 16 years of age who wishes to validate their level of French for an application for French nationality (level B1)
We specialise in preparing candidates of all levels and nationalities for the TCF IRN (Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité), which requires a B1 level
(CEFR) and is based on the assessment of the four following key skills: ​

ABOUT
My name is Catherine and I am the founder of French Tutoring. Qualified native speaking teacher specialising in linguistic engineering, I have lived and worked in France, Japan, Australia and now in the UK. I am also the parent of bilingual teenagers and an educator passionate about helping students of all ages and levels with language skills. I focus above all on the enjoyment of mastering a foreign language. Before starting French Tutoring, I was a university lecturer. I also taught at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the French Institute in Tokyo and London.
I am passionate about teaching and committed to the highest standards of tutoring.
